You want control? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE CONTROL!!! | 1 | 0 | 3 | 2.0 |
Solomon Darkfury 655
This deck though similar to the eVader/Jabba I have in the hall of fame is more control centric... It's all about using the Darkside and some Gangster tricks to control everything that happens on the way to victory!
With Dooku's ability and with constant Shield production from Immobilize. The staying power is INSANE!!!!
• Focusing to what you want almost every single turn... If it isn't what I need ie. opponent has no cards in hand negating my Mind Probe? Oh well let me focus that to the 1resource 3 ranged side... Oh you have shields on your character? Let me change to Kylo Ren's Lightsaber special...
• Specials for DAYS... Mind Probe, Sith Holocron, Force Choke, Force Throw... ALL HAVE 33% CHANCE TO ROLL A SPECIAL... Then throw in Cunning and copy whatever you want! Almost every turn I have a special to use if I want. Oh look I just rolled special on Force Choke and Force Throw... Let me turn your One with The Force to 3ranged then throw it in your face...
• Control that will make you vomit... every turn I'm choosing if I want you to keep your dice or manipulate them... Ooooo look 3melee on your General Grievous! Isolation... Your Sith Holocron hit it's special? Let me Electroshock that... Your Launch Bay pull you 4 ranged? Yeah let's just Immobilize that... Your Thermal Detonator rolled a special? Cunning... Oh you've been saving those resources for something special in your hand? You may as well Abandon All Hope... 3 melee on your Darth Vader? I'll remove my blank with He Doesn't Like You...
• At this point your opponent is so on tilt they aren't even paying attention to what you are doing with your dice... Mind Probe rolled a blank? Nope... There is enough focus in this deck to make Yoda's head spin!
• Oh you look confused by all this dice insanity and debating your next move? Thankful I had that 1 blank die left and you have your fully shielded Luke Skywalker with one life left? While you are trying to breathe I will claim and turn that Lightsaber special and 2 unblockable him....
Make sure you try and get the shields at the beginning. You want the shields!!! If you win the roll, choose their battlefield.
Put the shields and Sith Holocron on Jabba the Hutt then cycle in your blue upgrades. Kylo Ren's Lightsaber and Lightsaber to Count Dooku usually...
BTW if you are worried about cost curve, I never pay more than 2 for anything (except sabers)... Sith Holocron does the rest...
Then manipulate your dice or theirs on your way to victory... I can't tell you how frustrating this deck is for your opponent... expect A LOT of them to get put on tilt...
This deck is about MAXIMUM control over EVERYTHING! From manipulating everything they have to changing everything you have to what you want it doesn't get much better than this! Try it out! Expensive as hell deck but OH SO WORTH IT!
PS. The one loss was from someone who popped two Mind Probe specials on me first turn... I will continue to play and update the deck and W/L record as needed :)

you forgot to publish 3 more same decks with updated record AND CAPSLOCK |
No one cares about your win loss record. Post again if you have a new deck. Edit this post if you make some + or - changes. You publish every few days the same deck with the same description plus or minus a new sentence. |
Hall of fame... BWAHAHAHAHA |

Just amused. You seem very impressed with yourself, your record, and the paltry limelight that is being on the front page of a site for a new game. ALL CAPS! |

I have a comprehensive feedback. This reply proves: you're not here to discuss; you're here to pontificate. And it seems you aren't noticing the other comments about your brand of sharing. Don't post things online and not expect people to reply, comment, whatever. It's how these things work. As far as trolling, I think not. You don't want to actually discuss anything, hence why you're interpreting it as an attack. Admittedly, this post made me laugh. Carry on. |

I conceded this already. What about the first time? |
|
Played this at a local tourney today and went 1-3, maybe due to the fact that I didn't draw holocron in any of my games, despite full mulligans every time, or maybe due to the fact that people just focused Jabba EVERY TIME. I used at least two removal cards every turn, and still in most games he died by turn 3-4. Don't know where you play this deck or against whom, but it really lacks ways to kill your opponent. Unless this is a mill deck. |

I'm not trying to sound dismissive or disrespectful, but I have a hard time believing this deck "hammered eVeers/eJango into oblivion". |
|

I tried a deck that was almost the same as this one and sure it is good but it is not consistent. If you dont get a holocron in your opening hand your odds of winning drop dramatically and even if you do get it a decent eVeers/eJango deck played well will still win most of the time. |
|
I must admit that I am, however, quite puzzled as to how you can regularly stack 9 damage (plus shields) against Veers on turn 2, though. You can deal 2.3 damage per turn on average by using both Dooku's and Jabba's dice (if you Dooku's dice on 2 ), barring any rerolls. Even with multiple rerolls, you're capped at 4. The only upgrades that could help ramp up your damage will go online on turn 2, and due to their cost, it means you won't be manipulating dice (or you'll need to get out a holocron and get really good rolls). Now, just to be clear, I'm not saying this deck is bad at all. In fact, I do feel like it's perfectly tournament-worthy. The only contentious point is your claim that it eats eVeers/eJango for breakfast when, frankly, no deck can have a 92% win rate and I feel like the aggro match-up is actually this deck's weaker one, not its strong one. Personally, I feel this should be about 40/60 at most for this deck against eVeers/eJango (but much higher against triple characters decks and possibly other control builds). Out of curiosity, what has been your record against other popular/successful builds, like Sister Sledge, Vader Raider, eRey/eHan, Padmill, eRey/2xPadawan and FOST/Phasma/Bala? (and, again, not trying to "diss" or anything, I am genuinely interested because I have had less extensive testing with this deck and I'm trying to gauge the efficiency of every deck in every match-up) |
You do realize Holocron and Mind Probe and Force Choke and Force Throw are all 33% chance to hit special right? Then I have Dooku and Jabbas foci to get them there if not... sooo I'm not sure where you think I'm capped at 4 damage... I never said it matched up strongest against aggro... I said when played properly it can handle it... I've beaten Vader Raider, Padmill, eRey/eHan, FOST Phasma BAla, and eRey/2padawan... never played sister sledge with this deck... |
How have you found Abandon All Hope and Mind Trick so far? Have you tried Dodge or Deflect and, if so, did you feel they were still underperforming in the ranged aggro match-up? What about Backup Muscle? (or perhaps you feel it's too aggro and you don't need the extra damage; personally I really like the extra reach it provides and threatening lethal is a necessity even for more control-oriented decks, in my opinion, to keep your opponent in check) |

Did you try it against eVeers/eJango?
