I prefer Iden over Tarkin so I gave her and Snoke a try. I wanted to play something that could comfortably deal with Palpatine and Padme and this does decent at it with Vigilance, Mind Extraction, and the Red/Blue 0 cost removal suite + Probe.

Nice deck. Have you considered Military Camp? It lets you activate both your characters as they're both leaders, plus you get to re-roll one of Iden's die afterwards. It'd make you much faster, plus putting Iden's dice in the pool quickly makes your opponent slower. I get that Salt Flats is also great, but might be worth testing?

John Solo 2

Soresu Mastery and Scorched Earth might be great additions to this deck.

@rogue6548 Military Camp would actually be a really good call. I mainly went with Salt Flats for the consistency of getting Iden to damge, discard, or resource, but rolling in everyone might be better for me due to that bonus. It definitely is worth testing.

@John Solo Soresu Mastery I thought of, but I mainly play the one copy of Force Wave for 3-wide decks. The additional Focus and Special would be helpful, but I usually try to close out games before my opponent has reached their maximum ramp. I may give it a try though, same as with Scorched Earth, because the burst could be helpful vs Palp and that Satine/Mace/BtL.

Colour me intrigued! Not a pairing I'd considered but they do actually make a lot of sense on paper. It's also a bit of a bonus that I happen to have both of these as spot glosses!

on paper they looked good and they tested pretty well too. ran this on Saturday in a 19 man cash tournament and against the meta's strong decks it went 1-4 with the only W being the bye. I'm not the best player in the world but the deck felt a step behind the likes of Snoke/Watto/FOST, Leia3/Padme, and Palp/Watto.

I think there's new life for this deck after the new Balance of the Force. Snoke is now back at a 13 elite which makes room for a two cost plot. I'm thinking Advanced Training would do well here. You'd probably have to take out some cards now though since you can't Snoke Iden's resource anymore.
