Took this to a tiny, 4 player tournament and went 3-0 with it.
5 die start and executioner ability can hit hard. If you kill a character with melee damage you can resolve the newly rolled executioner melee side right away. Mulligan for Electrostaff or Ancient Lightsaber and some 0 cost mitigation so you can reroll your resource sides into damage.

I checked yours out, I believe my deck is a bit more consistent. I don´t run Executioners Axe for the reason it has another pay side for example. Also I have 16 events that cost 0, which means I can reliably always play them (some have board state requirements but mostly easily reachable). Speaking of 0 costs: Manipulate + Anger combination is very strong. Emulate does a lot of work in this deck, CQA can wreck opponents plans or even whole turn, Hidden Motive is an auto include in blue decks, etc. And I don´t this kind of deck should run 5 cost resurrect events at all. If you are able to play them then you probably skipped some upgrade plays (less damage to opponent) and/or you resolved some resource sides instead of rolling them into damage. You already have 26 HP + force illusions so use it to your advantage and go full aggro instead of trying to survive longer. With Talzin you would have to ditch the 0 costs to make sense thus your resource needs go up. Also you would lose ability to play CQA reliably because of no melee on her dice. The base sides are also needed for the awesome Maul´s and Fifth Brothers sabre and Electrostaffs on your Executioners. |
I built and played with this for a long time and just wasn't consistent enough. Hits like a truck and can shred, but too random. I went to talzan and it is a little better, but can't get it to be tier 1, but still solid tier 2.
