I have played this deck quite a lot now, and gee wiz I think I have underestimated Cassian Andor - Rebellion Operative so much ever since he was announced cause he is a friggen BEAST
So this deck is basically an aggressive ranged deck that spreads damage through out the game with Cassian's ability to do 1 Indirect Damage with his dice that you resolve. The aim of this deck is to aggro up Cassian with a bunch of weapons and keep him alive for the duration of the game cause it makes things a lot easier.
The only change I have made to this deck is that I have replaced the E-11 Blaster for the A280 Blaster Rifle because I don't want to see Indirect damage showing with the E-11 Blaster so I swapped it over to the A280 Blaster Rifle because it only has Ranged Damage with the Special that allows you to get more shields along with Poe Dameron - More Than A Pilot ability.
You would want to Mulligan for a very cheap removal card in your first hand, I highly recommend getting the X-8 Night Sniper or Poe Dameron's Blaster, Rebel Assault Suppressive Fire and a Friends in Low Places for a good starting hand. Once Cassian dies late game, you will have Poe geared up with redeploy weapons and then he just becomes dangerous for the rest of the game. As Cassian does damage over the game, late game your opponent is in trouble.
An amazing combo with this deck is to play Hit and Run and Impulsive. If Cassian rolls out trash, you can pray and play Hit and Run to try and roll out the 2, then play Impulsive to resolve the Focus die and turn the blanks or the Cassian dice into Range damage and boom, your opponent cannot do anything about it. I did that combo and my opponent just quit.
An example of a game, I was playing against a Kylo2/Pryce deck. Cassian is getting wrecked by the Kylo2 ability, and I had to play Second Chance onto Cassian to keep him alive. In the first round of the game Pryce had full health, and around the end game Pryce had 9 damage on her after Cassian was defeated.
I hope this deck goes well for anyone that wanted to try it out. But hey, I love Cassian now, I think he is my favorite character in the Ways of the Force set along side Luke and DJ.
