Juggler 9

I brought this deck to the Europeans, hoping it would perform above average. It is built against what I though would be the current meta. I've had some unlucky pairings (palps, Bala-Talzin), but I am very happy on how far it got me. I am thinking of swapping something out for a second Rend.

Round 1: Obi Maz (win) I had an answer to obi's dice for the first 3 turns, using Into the Into The Garbage Chute and Easy Pickings. By this time his deck was nearly empty. I guess my opponent was unlucky with his Force speed. I finished it using a deck mill against an Ancient Lightsaber.

Round 2: Talzin-Bala-Trooper (loss) During the first round, I got pounded with both a Probe and a Friends in Low Places. Ergo, I could not get my field state and was struggling to get any shields up. Lost by 5 cards, which is a lot.

Round 3: Talzin-Bala-Trooper (win) Opponent chose my battleground. I had enough removal cards in hand to get zero dmg in turn 1, being up and running in turn 2 including C-3PO and Chance Cube. From this point on I was generating enough resources to play shield cards, removal cards and the occasional Law and Order to remove his pesky weapon from Bala-Tik

Round 4: Rey-Aayla (win) I was able to play double/triple removal against her dice for the greatest portion of the game, using Defend as the main contributor to me winning this game. I played it in turn 3 and 4, and ended it using a Hyperspace Jump while she still had her ancient in play.

Round 5: Obi-Maz (win) So instead of removal, I picked a lot of shield-generating events in my opening hand, which made this game quite tense for me. However, I find this match-up quite in my advantage, so I won by playing removal in the latter turns.

Round 6: Kylo Anikin (loss) Even though I play-tested against this deck a lot, I had a lot of bad luck with having the wrong removal at the wrong time. This is the game making me regret not putting that extra Rend in for that pesky Force Speed. Great game though!

Round 7: Naked Palpetine (Loss) Again this was a game greatly influenced by Force Speed. Two actions into Alter for 10 damage is crazy. I underestimated this deck, and I was blown away by how well it worked. Nice job!

Round 8: Kylo Anakin (win) I expected to see this deck a couple of more times. Using double and triple removal to trash his many melee dice, I was able to keep my shield-game running. I had double Scrap Heap up in turn 1, which basically gave me 4 resources every turn.

Played against a very similar deck the other night and it was brutal. This is a very good mill set up.
