Decklist for R2P2 that won NorCal Regionals. After 3 days of intense testing I took it in, lost one game to rainbow 5555's and 1 match to Qui-Gon/Kanan in the best of 3 finals. The deck is solid, tho I will be testing some changes.

My general strategy was to get shotos out on Rey. That guaranteed shield/damage tech is just too good. This forces their hand and they must go after Rey grinding away at all her shield tech, meanwhile you arm up Poe for the close. Alternatively they go after Poe first and Rey just devastates long run once she has her kit.

Y-wings do work man. My Y-wing, playfully nicknamed "The Bus", did 8-12 damage every game I played it in. Not every game is perfect for it, so it's a situational play, but when it works it does major work. It's at least as good as a Lightbow, and endgame if you are sitting on Poe with Blaster/Lightbow a Y-wing and 3PO you win that game.

Medical Driods over Field Medic is basically a judgement call. It pairs nicely with Partnership to get a roll/resolve for a killshot.

Something I find interesting in builds lately what with Kylo being a thing, this deck runs a whole 9 not blue cards. And yet I don't really struggle in the Kylo matchup. Mono decks just need to have 8-10 grey cards to be totally fine, which should be easily doable with 4 sets out. I can think of 4 I'd play in a villain blue deck easily.

you smashed me round 2 with that y-wing and c-3po on turn 1.. seems worth it to run 2 of each if you can find the space!

@futantshadowI know, right? I just can't seem to find any space.

i think you can play hit and run over partnership and take out medical droids to free up 2 spots. i seem to play c-3po but only roll him in if i have a die out that i need to resolve as a different symbol so i can claim sooner, or if my opponent already claimed. point being, 1 c-3po is probably enough but 2 y-wings would be useful to draw early against certain decks.

I like Partnership because it works on Rey. The parity of this deck being 11 health each 15 points each 1/2 damage sides each means either character can win while the other one tanks damage for you. Because of that I want Rey to be able to pull a roll/resolve, and because of that, Medical Droids.

Really Medical Droids are what lead to the Y-wing include since now I have supports can throw it in just because it's good.
