Use Thrawn's ability and hit points to assist Kylo in stacking upgrades and killing off characters. Kylo should hopefully have a redeploy weapon when he goes down to help Thrawn finish off any remaining opposition. First draft of the deck so far, looking for feedback and suggestions. The only strategy notes I have are to focus on the primary damage dealer when facing a similar deck as Thrawn can close out the game against any other support character pretty easily. Rebel War Room has been fairly effective for games where you don't find your Imperial HQ early, but isn't critical for winning the game if you go to your opponent's field.
After playing some more, I've found that people tend to go after Thrawn over Kylo, so Praetorian Guard was dropped for two copies of Probe so you don't always have to name zero or one with Thrawn's ability. Rise Again is fairly consistent, so don't be afraid to overwrite upgrades on Kylo once you draw better ones.

I prefer all of the current two-cost upgrades over ancient, and a lot of the deck's momentum cones from the redeploy weapons. Vader's TIE is great if your meta plays longer games, but mine tends to be pretty aggressive. You should try those cards out and let me know how they perform. |
If you have 2 Rise Agains why don't you play more expensive upgrades? |
There are no upgrades that do as much as Rise Again. I run cheaper upgrades so I have the money to play Rise Again. I almost always just return Force Illusion with it, so trying to get expensive upgrades out of the discard pile wouldn't be viable either. |
I played a simliar version of this deck!! Its a fundeck. But if you wanna play compettive you take some of your best weapons and some sith holocron Ability stuff. I also run 1x Vader Tie and 1x Droid Commandos because in late game they are heavy hitters after kylo is defeated. I think to run this deck you need sith holocron and ancient lightsaber. |
