Bala was one of the characters I opened at the Awakenings pre-release, so he's kind of my man-crush character now. Here the goal is to get a few Hold-outs on Bala and protect him with the Guard and the Gamo. This deck is a bit awkward, it's mixed damage etc, but villains just don't have good ranged guardian options. Lots of direct damage with deadly, and hate. Medical center is your battlefield, you honestly won't be claiming much with guardian, deadly etc, but if you can you can gladly pass off the battlefield and heal your guardians 2. Personal Shield is another questionable card, it doesn't work with Guardian but with the amount of ranged in the meta it's been useful.
