Ooh, another Phasma deck! A tanky, heavy control deck!

This has been my go to deck for competitive play and it serves me well. Resource sides get the limelight in this deck due to the presence of Salvage Stand, Logistics, and Bait and Switch. This is a slow deck so Probe, FILP, Salvage Stand, and Tactical Mastery give me outs to my opponent's control attempts and the bursts of speed I need to sink damage. This deck is great for learning tempo. Hunker Down and Backup Muscle encourage your opponent to speed up their playing so they can deny you shields and damage, and if they don't? Hey. Free shields and damage. Then you get to mitigate to your hearts delight.

I used to struggle versus Vader decks, since they use so many aggressive events that damage you without a chance to react. Salvage Stand, Probe, and Friends In Low Places remedied that by limiting what my opponents could do with their hand and milling their hand. Tactical mastery opens up nasty mitigation moves. You can Guardian into He Doesn't Like you, or possibly trigger Salvage Stand on the same action.

As far as upgrades go, standard Redeploy and 1-cost upgrades that leave you open to mitigate when things go sideways. I love Imperial Discipline so much. Rolls resources and makes Salvage Stand more consistent, and is just an unrelenting die modifier that gets you what you want, while allowing you to "out-slow" you opponent. Everything I love.

I want to fit the new Phasma Blaster in, and right now I think Jetpack may be cut to accommodate. That's a dang good gun, but I tend to use all my resources every round, so I may want to feel it out depending on whether or not I get a logistics off early game.
