Shout out to Agent of Zion. I talked to him before running this deck and he gave me some good advice which came in handy during the tournament. This is his list with only one change that a buddy of mine gave me, assuring me scout was fantastic. I really think if I ever run this list again I will make scout a two of, its really that good at closing games if you lose a character.

All of my opponents were great, I had nothing but a fun time. I am not the best person at putting my thoughts into words so forgive me ahead of time if you choose to read this.

Round 1 - Seventh Sister / Pryce / Blockade - The resource deficit might hurt players that aren't playing mill more, but Yoda bathes in gold so it was no big deal. Win

Round 2 - Iden / Talzin / AR - Jeremiah was certainly fun to play against. He was also a great player which i realized early on (not to say my first opponent was not great, he was rocking a top 8 mat from a previous regional) so I was trying my best to limit my mistakes to a minimum. Iden can be frustrating for this deck to play against because it loves to force speed and hit and run. The game was very close. I made a mistake and discarded him 3 cards in the second to last round when i could have focused to a 2/2 discard and removed his whole hand for the win, but part of me was afraid of mitigation and the other part of me was a bonehead and didn't realize he only had 4 cards left. So by the time I had asked him how many cards he had I "technically" resolved my dice already. He almost won the next round due to a good roll and only so much I could mitigate, but I got the win.

Round 3 - Millionaires - eYoda / Cassian / Anakin - This is the deck I had been testing for the past three weeks, before mill started winning every event it seemed. I had this deck built and ready to go and almost played it because I had so many reps with it, and so few reps with Yoda Leia. But they are very similar, and Yoda Leia wins the mirror match almost every time, as was what happened here. My opponent was a good player, just had a hard matchup. I also hit and ran into commando raid for 4 as my first action, which didn't help him any lol

Round 4 Solo Sabine - When i sat down and saw what I was playing against, my heart dropped because I knew I was screwed lol. Solo sabine is probably the worst matchup mill can have in my opinion. If you don't hit the right cards, and he plays Never Tell Me The Odds with Infamous, you just lose a character then probably the game. So it was as predicted, a loss. Although I did bring him to 3 or 4 cards left, so I felt pretty good with how it turned out. 3-1

Round 5 Aayla / Kit - This is a very favorable match-up for me, and I played against a local guy who is a good player. It was a lot of fun but I took it home. 4-1

Round 6 Ciena / Beckett AR This did not feel like a close game. I know i can win this matchup but I couldn't stop his ramp, didn't mill the right cards, and overall just let the game get out of my control. 4-2

Round 7 Han / Qira - At this point I'm nervous, I know I'm on the bubble even if i win the match. My opponent was good and it came down to the end. If he had rolled out 2 sides of Qira damage with 0 cards in hand or deck he would have won the game, I could deal with one side with hidden motive, but not two sides. He whiffed and i got the game. Took 5th overall in swiss and moved into top 8.

Top 8 match was against solo sabine again. The same guy I lost to in swiss. When I learned about this I told my brother before we started, "at least we get to go home soon" lol. I was happy with winning my mat and moving on. Game one was close, in this matchup with Yoda; take as many shields as you can, since you typically cant mitigate Sabine's dice. My opponent must have weighted his dice in the wrong direction because he never action cheated out damage naturally for anything large. He got out double infamous this game I believe, and it came to a point where he did some shinanagins, ended the action phase, rolled out next round into Never Tell Me The Odds into killing my characters. Nothing I can do. Don't remember game two too much, I just took on as many shields as possible, and played every turn like he had hyperspace in his hand, hit and run leia out, roll no discards, PA the 2 focus instead, that kind of stuff. I won this game. Suppressive fire came in clutch. Game 3 was the most intense. Flames of the pasted his infamous. He Cheat it back out, but both of his NTMTO were in his discard pile. At the end of the game he cheated NTMTO out without tapping infamous, causing him to have 4 cards in hand, and only 3 remaining in his deck. His main target had been Leia, but she had 2 shields and force illusion, with only 3 or 4 damage on her, so I had put a few shields on yoda just in case. Anyway, after he cheated out NTMTO, I had an action. I hit and ran Leia, hit a 2 discard side and played Commando Raid He then naturally ambush rolled into 10 damage, taking one of yoda's two shields off with hidden blaster. Yoda survived the blow by 1 hp. If he would have died here, I would have lost the game. Super intense, but at this point it was all about sequencing correctly to take out the rest of his deck.

Top 4 was against Ciena Beckett, the same player I had lost to in swiss. Lots of revenge that night lol Game one he loaded up Firespray with mods, and i blew it up with EMP grenade. Then i set ablaze his Handheld L-S1 Cannon with flames of the past. Game 2 was not quite as one sided, but I still took the win. 2-0

The finals match, was against my mill cohort, who was on millionaires that I played from swiss. He opened up the match with telling me he had already won a regional, and he will scoop to me for the worlds seat. So much appreciated to him, Serdapi on discord. Great guy. The matches went as they did earlier in swiss, mill vs mill in the finals is not exactly the most fun thing to talk about, write about, or watch lol However, I did enjoy playing it lol I took the games 2-0. It seems pretty consistent that 3 wide mill loses to 2 wide, even if the decks are emptied at more or less the same rate, it seems that 2 wide mill will ALWAYS claim first at the end, causing the game to be tipped in their favor.

Total takeaway from the event - I don't think this deck is broken, or even that amazing. I think players playing against mill need to make better decisions about when to discard to reroll and when not to. Also... I really think that if so many decks were not built with the idea of having theed in mind, then this deck wouldn't be as powerful. The ability to take away someone's 3 resource start, is one of the main reasons why I didn't play millionaires. All day, I didn't lose the battlefield roll one time. Didn't get to play against vader, but in testing this deck does very well against him.

Final thoughts - Shout out to Agent of Zion. You're the man.

How useful was Senate Chamber?

I see a lot of Yoda/Leia variants utilising it

It was great. Fantastic really. Either soft mitigation or focus. You could even hit and run into PA in a pinch
