No dreams that this could be competitive, because why play this when you could play Kylo instead? The low health has the potential to get blasted off the board. However, this is one of the first characters given to me when I first got into the game, and I still haven’t used him! Dooku and the plot open up some ways to consistently discard and try to have a hand advantage. The location, A Tale of Tragedy, and Triple Threat provide some ways to get to the specials.

Ideas to make it better? I’m all ears.

I just wish that Quinlan/Asajj1 was good when they were standard

Maybe consider Temptation. Either two more cards in hand or 2 .

Possibly No Mercy for some massive damage from hand - it's a strong staple in mono-blue villain decks and great for a surprise kill, turning a 2 into a 6 (at the expense of turning off that Quinlan for a round.

Treasured Lightsaber and Dooku's Solar Sailer are also good for draw, with the former giving you another handy for the battlefield (and with all the draw, it'll likely be doing 3 unblockable damage).

Thanks for the feedback so far:

@RatchetYeah I wasn't around when they first came out, but they do just seem pretty bad overall.

@Chi3f1n6I'm not terribly convinced it is worth the cost, and given how low the health pool is in this deck, it's going to want to strike fast and hard. Psychometry seems cool, but rather slow and perhaps better in some kind of weird 3 wide control. I'm also not even sure if I own...or if I do, I haven't paid attention to it...haha.

@rogue6548Thanks for the suggestions. No Mercy definitely seems like an oversight on my part. At least a one of. I love Count Dooku's Solar Sailer, so I may need to find a spot. That could bring some needed consistency. I wonder what to replace with Treasured Lightsaber? I'm not keen on replacing any of the redeploy weapons, and is it good enough to take the spot of Ancient Lightsaber?

@DakeI get why people like Dark Counsel, but it's die seems underwhelming to me, even at a 1 cost support. If it had two specials instead of something else, it might be more worthwhile in this deck? I won't know until I try it out, so it'll likely make it into at least one version of this. I just always read things like "I didn't play Dark Counsel all tournament, and it would be the first thing I change."

I really like 1-cost upgrades. I think it might play nice with quinlan's special since you can resolve them at the same time. Lets you just milk 1 extra damage out of it. And focus is nice. I wish it was 2 specials and 1 focus. The resource side ain't so bad either. I like getting dark counsel early and then overwriting.
