Took this to a 5-2 finish at the OH Regional finishing 10th place out of 47 players. In testing I had a pretty great match against Thrawn/Snoke and Vader/Greedo so I decided to roll with it.

ROUND 1(WIN 1-0):Store Champs bye card. Scoped out the field and was not surprised to see an overwhelming number of Thrawn Snoke. I was surprised at the small amount of Armored Reinforcement decks, so my last minute swap to an EMP Grenades over 2x Flames of the Past looked like a bad choice.

ROUND 2(LOST 1-1): eBoush/eYoda/Espionage. This game was close but my opponent was able to get 2 Grappling Boa and 2 Energy Pikes out.

ROUND 3(WIN 2-1): eVader3/Greedo. UnFortunatley I got paired up against someone I play with regularly. I know his deck and between Bewilder and Beguile I pulled it out with Cassian at 2 health after getting through a Second Chance

ROUND 4(WIN 3-1): e7th Sister/eBoba. I don't remeber much about this game except his Boba didn't roll very well. Double Fast Hands Cassian kept rolling double discard. Two Force Illusions hit 2 of my Hyperspace Jumps put I got my 3rd one at a clutch moment.

ROUND 5(WIN 4-1): eBeckett/eIden. Force Jump was the star in this match. One round I reolled back into the special 3 times. He played a Vigilance at a clutch moment, but I Hyperspace Jumped away from 10 damage.

Round 6(LOST 4-2): eThrawn/eSnoke. This game had about as an amazing start as I could ask for. I won the Battlefield roll. Scruffied a Vader's Fist. Then between all my dice, Bewilder and the battlefield my opponent had only 15 cards left in his draw deck going into R2 and I had taken 0 DMG. He ended upgetting 3 Tie Fighters and an Umbrian tank out. I claimed early one round with Mitigation in my hand still and ate 8 DMG due to focuses. He was able to pull it out with 1 card in hand, but it was a great game.

Round 7(WIN 5-2): Plo/Jedha/Rebel Engineer/Armored Reinforcments. This was the coolest deck I played and I am totally stealing it at some point. It was a Shadow Caster reset deck but also had some consistent Mill with the Laser Cannon Mod. I felt so good dropping EMP Grenades turn 1 just to see my opponent drop Shield Generator. I was able to Mill both R2 Astromech and one of his Strategic Planning round 1. EMPs rolled the 2 Discard every round and a couple of clutch Hyperspace Jumps sealed this win for me.

Missed top 8 due to SoS, but had a ton of fun and intense games all day long. If I had to play again I would likely not use the EMPs as I discarded them in all but my last game. I would definitley still play 3x Hyperspace and 3x Scruffy those along with my Battlefield were clutch all day.

Hey! Amazing match today in Round 7. You had some awesome plays (using Scruffy Looking Nerf-Herder right after I pulled the Targeting Astromech!) and I would love to see you keep pushing this decklist farther. Thanks again for the great game and for keeping me accountable a few times, and enjoy your 10th place! You earned it!

@Caleb723 it was great playing you and I loved seeing your unique take on the deck. I am definitley going to try it out very soon with my shiny new Plo spot gloss.

I think this is the deck I wished I had had yesterday, but it was too different from the eYoda/eLeia I had been running.

Have you experimented much with taking 3x of different cards? 3x hyperspace jump makes sense to me, but I’m surprised at 3 SLNH rather than maybe Force Illusion.

@DarthBinkly Originally I had 3 copies of Force Meditation. I found quickly that I had no problem hitting the deck. Getting the last few cards from hand was the challege. The Scruffy Looking Nerf-Herder came in handy to target specific cards from my opponents hands, especially after a Lighsaber Pull or a Rebel Engineer activation. I do not think that Force Illusion would be a good choice. In a few games I ran low on my own deck and the usage of it sometimes discarded key cards like Hyperspace Jump.

Both my losses came with my opponent having no draw deck and 1-2 cards in hand. They also had a large number of die in the pool. With that in mind I would potentially consider adding more multi die removal like a 3rd Beguile or adding a Mind Trick.

@Big_Campy excellent point about not having the card count. I ran too short for even a second FI a few times.

You know what? When EMP Grenades first came out I told my peeps: This will be useful in the future. Everybody laughed. God damn, I knew it. Limited usefulness, but it's there. Nice deck, looks fun to play.

@outro the EMPs have fairly decent die sides for a Mill deck. Luckily for me it rolled the 2 Discard almost every round in the one game I got it out. Definitely would have helped in the Thrawn Snoke match if I would have gotten it out early.
