Just for funsies. I really wish Anakin could turn K-2S0's die, but alas.

"Reprogrammed Droid" is part of his subtitle, not a subtype, unfortunately. It hasn't been clarified, but you can compare it to a Battle Droid to see the difference. K-2SO was printed before characters started receiving subtypes. That began in Legacies, I believe. (Trooper, Jedi, Spectre, Leader, etc.) |
Plus, we can’t have too many useful legendary cards. |
If you were willing to house rule Annie and allowed him to change K-2SO’s dice what changes would you make? |
If I had that house rule in effect, I might consider adding in a cheeky Commando Raid to take advantage of K-2's side. I'd likely drop the Astromech since its would be much less necessary with Anakin being able to turn K-2's die instead. The deck probably needs Suppressive Fire (Which is amazing!) so I'd put two of those in for the Astromechs. C-3PO and Chopper both still make the cut because they serve unique functions. (Symbol "translation" and die removal, respectively) |
I appreciate the thoughtful response. I’ll be putting it together today. |
Hopefully you can get lucky and experience the joy of putting a weapon onto Anakin, rolling in and resolving both characters, (K-2 first though, so that Ani can house-rule fix his die,) then Equip a weapon over to K-2 for a double activation and maximum fun! ;D |
PS - After a game or two, I don't think Weapon Master is making the cut. I normally put it on Anakin, but his character dice are actually pretty valuable and the deck doesn't really have enough weapon cards to make it worth it. I suggest replacing it with more mitigation or healing. Perhaps Field Medic or even a Suppression Field, since weren't too big of an issue for me in general. |
Was it clarified in a rules reference that you could not? It would seem to me that you can.
