Her die is decent so it stinks to only have one, but these two magnaguard's can put some hurt in, while she ramps up.

Why no The Best Defense... on a magnaguard already dead it can hurt the oponent quite badly

Why not run elite Captain Phasma - Ruthless Tactician for her two dice. You wouldn't get guardian but you could run events like The Best Defense... like @Icezox said or other events that pretty much give you guardian. Or if you really want the guardian there is Personal Escort or Praetorian Guard.
