This deck is just straight up out of the box, and is a reasonable starting point. A good rule of thumb when deck building, is to have a 1/3 of the deck to be upgrades or supports (adding dice), 1/3 of the deck to be dice removal/migation cards (e.g. Sound The Alarm or Flank) to hit your opponents dice. Basically to stop them dealing damage to you. The final 1/3 I will label 'other', so things like resource generation (e.g. Logistics) or shield generation (Defensive Stance) or fixing your own dice (e.g. Concentrate).
To improve the deck I would include better upgrades, specifically ones with better sides. If they have re-deploy even better as it means they will move over to your other character when the character with them dies. Some good guns are: Canto Bight Pistol, Holdout Blaster, E-11 Blaster, Hidden Blaster (this one doesn't have redeploy but comes in the starter sets. The others I would reccomend ebay/facebook groups to source them. If you got Luke's starter set you could also include R2-D2 and Heirloom Lightsaber which are both excellent cards.
Improving events, you can buy a complete set of commons for ~£10 a set on ebay/facebook. Or just get friends to give you spare copies. You can do a similar thing for uncommon cards. Some cards which would well in this deck are Hit and Run, Field Medic, Guard, Caution.
