The early game is to get fearless on Ahsoka, and then swing twice each turn with her, Maz is there for the focus to help work toward the potential 8 dmg a turn (2 swings, 2 melee dmg per dice). Thermal Paint adds 1/2 dmg a turn, means you could potentially do 10 dmg in a turn. I'm still pretty new to the game, so the cards may not be optimal.
