Qui-kan Starkiller Base Throwdown at Showdown winner. | 9 | 9 | 3 | 1.0 |
Repulsar 145
This deck was expertly piloted by a good friend of mine that happens to be the same person who was placed 3rd in this years European Championship in the UK.
The store championship had 17 entrants with 5 rounds of swiss and a top 4. The deck faced opponents with decks like, eSabine/Ackbar, eHera/Rookie pilot/eMaz vehicle, eKylo2/Grevious, eKylo1/eAnakin, eSabine/eEzra and ePalpatine. The finals were against eKylo2/Grevious.
Consistency is the name of the game here. The deck can deliver massive amounts of damage on round 1 with the correct cards in the opening hand. You can easily deal 9-11 damage with minor dependence on dice rolls, with the use of cards like Caution, Synchronicity and Riposte and of course the looping of Luke's Protection via Fearless.
Also the deck has great survive-ability due to the insane amount of shields it can generate, together with the heals that Ancient Lightsaber provides, Force Illusion and the standard removal suite that blue hero events offer. Cards like Luke's Protection and Ancient Lightsaber can also provide a good defense against mill decks, cause of the card recycling.
Jedi Robes is a great opening card that you almost immediately override with a Shoto Lightsaber or Fearless in order to start the pinging of shields into victory.
This deck is easily a tier 1 deck after the new errata changes and at least in our local meta, is borderline tier 0.
Enjoy and may the Force be with you!

`@blueeyedbanditt you can always use Vibroknife. Even after the new errata changes, it is still a very potent upgrade. |
Just plain lightsaber would work as a replacement. The healing is the key. |
Was thinking maybe Luke's Lightsaber (if I can get em cheap) for the ability and 2 shield side? |
How did you get the 2 Ancient Lightsabers? |

Force misdirection for moments like those? |
Also keep in mind that most good opponents will target Qui-Gon first so you just need to keep him alive until round 3 or so. Shield generation and Ancient Lightsabers help a lot in combination with a well timed Force Illusion, which most of the times you will have to play it as an override. |
As a new player, does anyone have suggestions for replacements for the Ancients?
