I've been working on this list with a buddy and it's been testing really well. My first list comprised of running 2 Temptation, 1 Deflect, and 1 Rend.

I've made some adjustments and I'm really curious on what I can get with Battle of Wills. It seems crazy but looking at other characters only 2 match his dice value if played elite but Palpatine - Galactic Emperor has more 2 sides than the field.

I added Immobilize for some shield generation, it pairs well with Sith Holocron, and it's another die mitigation.

I placed Feel Your Anger in as well since it could wreck an opponent's poor roll and tip the fight in my favor.

Any changes you would make? What is your ePalp list looking like? Thanks for the help!

What i would do based on my experience (and i managed to get some wins on locals with Palp)

  • -Immobilize, you dont need any more shields. And Immobilize, if so, is not for shields but for ability.
  • -No mercy. Looks tempting but no. Each card in palp deck is valuable. Its only viable as last card in a game played. I ditched them and do not miss them.
  • +As you command (or whatever it is called - this new event that lets you treat your dice as focus) 2 focus on palp deck is awesome + its always 2 damage.
  • +Feel your Anger for 2 copies. Your bread and butter removal.

@vitalis09 I am coming around as to not using No Mercy. I ran one Immobilize but I may bump it to two. I'll take the other Temptation out. I'll replace the No Mercy with another Feel Your Anger.

Lastly, I'll add an As You Command. I may have to throw in a Force Throw to keep adding to removal of an opponent's Die.

Played against Thrawnkar at least 3 times and lost all of the games. Not liking that part at all. Haha.

No Mercy can win games, but also feels dead a lot of the time and is very situational. With Endurance adding more non-blue to the deck, its consistency is lower now for sure. Palp also sometimes struggles to produce enough damage sides to even use it; you often roll 1 damage side on palp and promptly have it removed, leaving you to rely on upgrades to even play No Mercy, and they don't for the most part have many damage sides. I ultimately cut it because it just doesn't perform enough of the time.

I feel like Battle of Wills is too risky. You pay 2 which is enough to remove two character dice anyway with basic removal... but you have to roll and might lose your own dice instead, or kill both characters' dice for the turn. You don't get enough value against lower-value characters to pay two to remove their dice, and you get too much risk of removing your own against high-value characters. Exploding your own Palp dice is really bad, so I just don't see the payoff here ever being worth the risk, at least not for Palpatine.

[General Grievous - Jedi Hunter] kills palatine super fast, how are you suppose to keep palptine alive?? I like two ancient lightsaber,just because of the healing. I like the temptation card, but the immobilize not needed. Thanks,l like palptine just can not find a good palptine deck that can not be crime lorded or just killed Thanks chance cube.
