Ok, I did like the original build of this deck (obviously) but knowing the strong aggro meta in my area, I decided to stock up on more dice mitigation and card discard. Also, I wanted to try out some of the new EAW cards, so I threw a bunch in there.

I got U-Wing in my first hand and it ended up being brutal! Especially when I could use Ezra Bridger - Force-sensitive Thief's special to steal a resource, then play Strategic Planning and use U-Wing again. At one point I had 4 vehicles in play (2 from Hera special) and used Deploy Squadron to get my dice out there quickly.

Surprisingly I was never in need of resources, even though I did play some opponents with disrupt die. I never used Appraise, so I may take it out of the next version.

I added C-3PO just for good measure to get Hera's special as often as possible. I only used him once, though.

Strike Briefing was a life-saver due to being able to discard some really important cards in my opponent's deck. I'll probably add a second one in the next version of this deck.

It was silly for me to use die mitigation cards that rely on a red dice, like Suppression, because I always wanted to change Hera's die instead of keeping them ranged. Surprisingly I didn't even use Covering Fire, though maybe I should have.

Once I get a second U-Wing I will definitely put that in the deck. Not sure yet what I'll take out, though. I never did use Lead by Example, because Partnership did that for me in many instances. Plus partnership lets me pay 1 to immediately resolve that support die, so it works well in this deck.

I thought about adding Recycle, but didn't really want to discard those vehicles! Especially against a mill opponent. I used Quadjumper to get vehicles out permanently. First I would use Hera Syndulla - Phoenix Leader's special and get Quadjumper out. Then after rolling and resolving it (ideally with Partnership ), replace Quad with Millennium Falcon or U-Wing. Roll that out and resolve. Then ready it with Strategic Planning, and your opponent will hate you.

I also considered using Rookie Pilot, but I am a believer in diversifying a deck to a certain degree, so Ezra Bridger - Force-sensitive Thief helps in that regard.

I'm going to tweak the deck and post another version soon. I played this deck in a 14 person local tournament and my record was 3-1 (third place). Cheers!

Might it be better to run Pinned Down Over Suppression? Also, you mentioned you should have been using Covering Fire but it seems like Sound The Alarm is better. I suppose Covering Fire is good because it let's you reroll any number of an opponents dice but its predicated on you showing damage. But In my experience it seems like this deck may not show lot's of damage all at once unless your opponent claims battlefield early. Sound The Alarm has served me well against aggro.

C-3PO Seems good in theory for Hera's ability but I feel like it slows the deck down a bit. I feel like with Maz show's focus enough to 1) Resolve her focus die using her ability to change Hera's die to special side and 2) then resolve Hera's special. (I think that's how this works, I did it and no one argued with me)
